Our Vision

Our vision is to transform Carpinteria into a dog-friendly, dog-loving community.  A community that appreciates the joy that having a dog can bring to people and the happiness and joy that the people can create for our dogs. Our vision encompasses responsible dog ownership that respects the dogs, each other, and our beautiful surroundings. We wish to become partners in helping our city’s businesses flourish.

Our Mission

Our mission is to encourage the establishment of dog parks and open off-leash areas to provide safe and secure environments where owners may exercise and train their dogs. This also provides socialization opportunities for people and their dogs and enhances positive interaction between dog owners and the community. C-DOG promotes responsible dog ownership through educational, recreational, and training opportunities to encourage current and potential dog owners to develop more meaningful relationships with their canine companions and the community.
